Writing is Good :)

I often hear people say any reading is good reading, good for the reader. Not true, obvs. So I guess strictly speaking, not any writing is good for the writer, either. Nonetheless, now I've seemingly got the blind faith that writing just about anything is better than slacking off, e.g. merely reading one book after another. In those ebooks I do highlight and comment, but if this were adequate, how could I then laugh at the "Like" button as a degenerate form of human communication, given the abomination of putting "WTF"s down all over the place as my reading notes?

Indeed I got really lazy, excusing myself for being too busy to write. Now, at least for now, I have time to spare, so that lousy excuse collapses. Deep down I still like writing. It makes my mind so much less passive, and often brightens my day. I don't have to write about my life, or anything from scratch. Books (the good ones I mean), alongside seeing real people doing their work, opened my little mind to the world. I believe it is critical to learn to see the world way beyond one's ego, which typically started off as being the center of the universe, or the universe itself. Whether a person grows out of or further into this delusion marks one's future and fate. But I digress. Anyway, so why not start with some reading notes?
